I found this recipe in an old church cookbook given to me by my mother. I have tweaked slightly for my taste. But, it is delicious!
I like to use chicken leg quarters. About 4 of them (this makes 4 legs and 4 thighs)
1 c flour
1 envelope tomato Lipton Cup O Soup (this is the only brand I have been able to find at 1 local store)
1 envelope italian dressing mix powder
I mix all the ingredients in a bowl. I rinse chicken, then pat dry. Coat chicken with mix and place on baking sheet. Bake 350 degrees for about 1 hour.
I usually make with french fries (baked, of course).
