I will pass along recipes when I have something I think you might enjoy that is not very expensive. This is a delicious and quick recipe that some of you might already have. Enjoy!!!
1 1/2 chicken breasts, uncooked ($2.85)
2 c cooked rice (<$1)
2 can cream of mushroom soup ($1.00) or 1 can cream of mushroom and 1 can cream of chicken
1 can milk ($.50)
Place cooked rice on the bottom of a 9x13 pan. Then, place chicken on the rice. Mix the 2 soups with the milk. Pour on top. Cook at 350 degrees for 1 hour.
A great meal for about $5. In our case, $1 a person. For a more variety, cook some vegetables to serve with the meal.
